This is a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation given at The New Jersey Library Association 2007 Annual Conference in Long Branch, NJ, April 24, 2007. The title of the program was "Let's Mambo at the Library: Using Content Management Systems (CMS) to create dynamic websites". Between the time of the announcement of the program and the presentation, I had migrated from Mambo to Joomla so the presentation is really about Joomla CMS.

How to Install Joomla! is a step-by-step video guide. Excellent for the beginner. Laura Bergells actually downloads, extracts, and copies the files to a server, and sets everything up. She really goes into how to set up the database as well. The entire series of videos runs in under 42 minutes.

Screenbooks Visual Tutorial for Joomla is a great tutorial with screenshots for each step of setting up Joomla. For the very beginner. Covers everything from getting the Joomla files, putting them on the server, through using Joomla extensions.
